Lazy Bird Kitchen lands at Love Supreme

The Lazy Bird Kitchen banqueting tent is landing at Love Supreme Jazz Festival in the South Downs next Friday, 1st July. It will be open all weekend bringing festival goers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner banquets throughout the weekend, with a special Sunday roast menu on Sunday. There will also be a bar serving drinks for the duration.

We are working with an array of brilliant local artisan producers to ensure only the best seasonal ingredients are used. Suppliers include Flint Owl Bakery, Deerview Fine Sussex Foods, Payne Bee Farm and Lee Howards & Sons, to name but a few.

If you are joining us for breakfast or brunch, you’ll  be served a bread basket with local honey, marmite and jam as well as bircher muesli and fresh fruit salad to enjoy as a table. You will then have the choice of either a bacon or a sausage sandwich to set you up for the day!

On Saturday our menu for lunch and dinner includes a number of delicious dishes which will be served banquet style for everyone to enjoy. You can expect to see Hanger steak slices and Sussex sausages accompanied by scrumptious sides and a Lazy Bird Glynde surprise for dessert.

On Sunday, we’ll be serving up a special roast menu from 12pm onwards. On the menu is roast Za’atar chicken with honey, seeds and chorizo and sides including parmesan potatoes with garlic crumbs and summer slaw with pistachios and pomegranate. For dessert, it’s one of our all time favourites… Eton Mess.
