Get ready for summer!
There may have been a sprinkling of snow this week but believe it or not summer is just around the corner! Here at Caiger and Co. we have been busy preparing for our Summer Showcase and tasting some of our favourite dishes.
Now is a great time to be thinking about your summer events whether they are corporate functions or a private party. A beautiful sunny day is always a good foundation for a great summer event but delicious, bespoke, seasonal food can help take your event to the next level.
We are loving asparagus with truffle oil, parmesan and quail’s egg canapés; not only do they taste amazing but they also look so pretty when they are plated up. Add a crisp, chilled glass of white wine into the mix and you’re away! We work closely with Jascot’s Wine to choose wine that represents great value and complements our food to provide the best all round gastronomic experience. We have a wide selection of wines and are always happy to make suggestions according to your menu.
Our slow cooked lamb shoulder with chickpeas, broad beans and preserved blood orange is definitely a front runner for us at the moment in terms of bowl food. It is packed full of flavour and the sprinkling of edible flowers is the finishing touch to make it a perfect summer dish.
