Eat Your Greens!

We’re all doing it aren’t we? Eating anything and everything that’s green and trying to pulse it, juice it or make it into soup. All the while convincing ourselves that we’re really enjoying it when really what we want is cake, and lots of it.

Apart from thinking about cake and making soup, we’re doing lots of planning during January as well. We’re really excited to be part of the Chosen Wedding Fair this year, taking place at the Islington Assembly Hall on Sunday 27th April. Now, back to those greens. There are plenty that we should be eating now – kale (the vegetable of the moment), leeks, celery, sprouts (not just for Christmas) and Jerusalem artichokes for example. But a little of what you fancy is no bad thing in my book, so here’s my recipe for something that’s s green, but it’s delicious and definitely worth trying now or on February 1st when the detox can officially be OVER. Until next January that is.

 

Kale Chips

Ingredients:

Kale

Olive Oil

Sea Salt

Black Pepper

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 0C

Rub the kale with olive oil, and then sprinkle the salt and pepper over the leaves. Bake until the leaves are crisp aprox. 10 minutes. Let them cool and then eat. How easy was that?!
