East London Venues

CaigerandCo • Feb 16, 2018

East London has become a maze of secret, quirky spaces to host your party. There are an abundance of blank canvas warehouses featuring ‘rustic’ exposed brick work and concrete floors. All are an exciting project for the budding event manager looking for transformation and we love them! When we find places that already have their own character and community, we get super excited – it’s an added bonus! Benk + Bo and the Tab Centre are two of our favourite East London venues.

Benk + Bo is  run by Antony and Mariell, an Anglo-Norwegian dream team that have nailed providing an ‘ecosystem’ for like-minded creatives. The interior is reflective of their ethos – and couldn’t be further from the sweaty yoga studio is could easily be associated with. Full of plants, wooden furniture, home-sewn cushion pads, local artwork hanging on the walls. Benk + Bo is on Gravel lane, in the heart of the City and is a beautiful hub of potential. By day they are a hot desk come bakery come yoga studio – surely the perfect equation for creative freelancers?! By night the space is offered as a venue for a host of activities, from spooncarving, to supper clubs and the like. In fact it will be home to the Caiger showcase this coming march, which we are all really excited about!

Another hidden gem in the streets of the east is the TAB centre , a stones through from Shoreditch. The TAB Centre offers a relaxed, vintage space, set back from the road, with its own private gardens. As a beautiful old tabernacle, it’s just begging for festoon lighting strung from the wrought iron balcony. For a wedding or Christmas party, the beautifully high-ceiling’ed hall is the perfect spot for a knees-up! Again, the TAB centre is more than a lovely venue. The hall avidly supports the local community through its events. Run by the lovely Juliana, the TAB Centre opens its doors to a whole host of activities to help those in the area, from feeding the homeless, to Zumba….All profits go towards the continuity of these community projects.

It’s so nice to be supporting spaces that help others discover their potential in so many different ways, as well as helping us to through the perfect party! Get in touch for more information – we’d love to show you round!
