Christmas party tips

CaigerandCo • Dec 05, 2015

We’ve come up with a list of tips for hosting your own Christmas party whether it’s a small event for you and your friends or a bigger event perhaps for your work.

Tip 1

Decide what type of Christmas party you’re having: will there be a theme? Think silly Christmas jumpers or perhaps go against the grain and host an ‘anti-Christmas’ Christmas party – no elf hats or fake beards in sight! How many people will you invite?  Will there be food and drink?  And will you supply it all or will people bring food and drink as well?

Tip 2

Set the date: December is a busy month for us all so if you are planning on hosting a last minute party decide on a date now and let people know!  Make a Facebook group or an event page so people know to keep the day free.

Tip 3

Prepare! Prepare! Prepare!  If you’re planning on catering your own party don’t leave everything to the last minute or you’ll spend the evening stressed and in a rush.  Remember parties are supposed to be fun!  If you want to remove the stress of sorting out food and wine all together our dedicated team of party planners can help.  We can cater for all different type of events as well as different budgets.  From formal 3 course dinners to canapes to drop off catering which you can freeze and bring out on the day.  For more information email us at alix@caigerandcocatering.co.uk or call 07946 243 960
