Christmas at Borough Market with Caiger & Co.

Celebrate the season in a brand new pop-up restaurant in the heart of Borough Market, with Caiger & Co. Catering at 6 Southwark Street. Opening 1st December with bespoke barrel and scaffolding bar.

Head chef Alix and her team have collaborated with the market and its suppliers, in order to create a selection of ‘feasts’ for the party season – a tapas style bar alongside a festive supper club restaurant.

6 Southwark Street will be open day and night through out December for walk ins and bookings. The menu offers a selection of ‘Market Place’ salad bowls such as , honey parsnip, chestnut, raisins and parsley with Brindisa’s morcilla, or roast cauliflower fritters with winter slaw and saffron cream. Our Larder Boards will show off the very best that Borough has to offer along with open sandwiches especially our favourite smoked duck, celeriac remoulade on rye.

 

The cellar (which is advanced bookings only)  is fitted out with sharing tables where we will be serving 3 courses. Starters will be served to the middle of the table and include beetroot and London gin cured gravlax, confit rabbit with pickled vegetables and aioli. A different menu each week and desserts ‘painted’ onto the tables – a feast for the eyes!

Book right away for the ticketed sharing tables in the cellar are £35 per person and must be booked in advance and you can also BYOB (corkage fee applies).

Head chef and owner Alix says “I’m really excited to be doing this at Borough Market – it’s the perfect location for a Christmas party or a drink and a bite. The suppliers here are second to none, which really suits the ethos of our catering.”

6 Southwark street will be hosting a weekly night which will showcase a specific producer from Borough Market.
