Caiger & Co turn up the heat

At Caiger & Co we have loved creating alfresco dining experiences for years; be it a paella party, or a sharing style feast of abundant seasonal platters, washed down with wild cocktails with foraged local herbs and flowers.

Therefore, with the safety of our clients and guests at the forefront of our minds, we are delighted to focus on open air cooking this summer. We are excited to announce that we have invested in beautiful piece of cooking equipment from Country Fire Kitchen.

Inspired by the South American asado culture of cooking on fire, Country Fire Kitchen is the brain child of Tom & Ana Bray. The equipment is hand crafted in Dorset, think cleverly designed hanging frames cooked over wood, built so that you can cook your meat, sauce and vegetables all at once, each being imparted with a smokey depth of flavour, and crosses for cooking a whole lamb, fish, and vegetables over flames. Our new piece of equipment includes two interlocking fire pit tables, that join together to give you a large cooking space, you grill up to four whole lambs or pigs at once.

We will be able to bring this equipment with us anywhere across the country. Weddings, birthdays, parties, cooking masterclasses and reunions will be given a theatrical feel, not to mention a whole new depth of flavour.
