Wow what a weekend!

CaigerandCo • Jul 05, 2016

This past weekend we made our festival debut at the fantastic Love Supreme Festival. The Lazy Bird Kitchen set up pitch in the stunning grounds of Glynde Place to bring festival goers banquets all weekend long from breakfast through to brunch, lunch and dinner.

After a slightly soggy start, the mud dried up and the sun shone down on The Lazy Bird Kitchen! We looked onto main stage so people could soak up the festival vibes whilst enjoying their meal. The Lazy Birds Glynde Surprise proved to be a big hit involving waffle cookies, candy floss, fudge, chocolate brownies… the list goes on!

We worked closely with amazing local artisan producers to ensure that we served the best seasonal ingredients. Lew Howard and Son provided the meat, including their delicious homemade sausages. Flint Owl bakery supplied us with an array of fresh bread, whilst Fin and Farm braved the mud to deliver their apple juice and wonderful dairy products. During breakfast the tables were scattered with spreads including Paynes Bee Farm’s honey, which were then replaced later on in the day with Sussex Gold oils and an assortment of condiments from Deerview sauces.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Lazy Bird Kitchen’s first outing and hope to back again very soon.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped to make the weekend such a great success!
