Christmas with Caiger and Co

It’s CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS.  Or so the song goes.  But don’t panic, we’re still celebrating the fact that we are actually having a warm summer this year, so probably Christmas is the last thing on your mind.  But given that it is only four and a bit months away, we are much nearer to this Christmas than we are to last year’s!

Christmas is stressful enough without having to worry about the food, the menus & who’s going to do it. We’re here to make the festive season that much easier for you so you can enjoy it with family, friends, colleagues & clients.  Whether it’s formal or informal; canapés for 50 or a sit down meal for 20; a party at home, a shindig in the office or a reception in a venue of your choice, Caiger and Co. has got it covered.

As ever, our ethos is to work with seasonal & local produce to create interesting and innovative menus to make your mouth water. Our menus are bespoke, and we love nothing more than being given a brief which challenges us and allows us to use our creative minds.

We have come up with some stunning sample menus though, to give you an idea of what we can do.

If you’re having a drinks party, our canapés, small bites and bowl food options are second to none. Stars of the show include :

Little Christmas raised pies with Cumberland sauce

Chicken sliders with stuffing & bacon

Slow cooked duck pancakes with spring onions & chives

Roast parsnip & chestnut croquettes, Romesco sauce

Potted shrimps, nutmeg butter & crispy toasts

Grilled prawns, spinach hollandaise

Sea bass with pomegranate & avocado, waffle cups

Roast cauliflower fritters, smoked garlic aioli & micro basil

Slow cooked shin of beef, marmalade jus & puff pastry top

Honey roast sausages, celeriac & potato cream, onion jam

Slow roasted root vegetables with sour cream, basil oil & sesame salt

Cranberry & orange pavlova with honeycomb

Indulgent chocolate, clementine & almond cake with orange syrup & praline cream.
